Octavian Popescu spent over a decade at Blackstone, most recently as a Managing Director in Tactical Opportunities, a global platform investing across asset classes, sectors, and geographies. He led complex investments in fintech, enterprise software, digital consumer, healthcare, and financial services, combining deep operational insight with flexible capital solutions.
He began his investing career at Neuberger Berman and held roles at Bank of America and Centre Lane Partners, where he specialized in control-oriented special situations. With over 15 years of experience across buyouts, minority investments, and growth deals, Octavian brings a cross-disciplinary perspective on private-markets innovation and capital formation.
